Scratchball

We call ScratchBall the chess of billiards. The art of ScratchBall strategy is knowing where to place the cue ball. With cue ball in hand, the layout of the balls on table is under your control. As experience level increases, players learn to formulate plans and develop strategies by working in scratch trickshots. Masse, multiple banks, the draw, follow & more—the game is only limited by the imagination.

Artistic pool was first sanctioned by the WPA in 2000. Since then, it developed into a worldwide phenomenon and is still growing in popularity. We developed ScratchBall Billiards to fill a niche in the trickshot industry. We know that artistic plays are inherent in many games. However, ScratchBall is the only billiard game where trickshots are the core of the game. Where else can you perform a trickshot and get rewarded? ScratchBall is our contribution to the artistic community.

Novice ScratchBall players often just smack the ball as hard as they can to pocket an object ball in hopes of scratching the cue ball. Experience with the game teaches one to slow the ball down and finesse the cue ball into a pocket. Developing simple trickshot disciplines will ultimately help win the game.
